General information
The media upload is a guided workflow consisting of 3 steps:
Step 1 - element selection
First, upload the media elements you want to the server. In this step, the elements are not yet imported. To do this, please click the "Add element" button and upload the desired element. You can also mark and upload several elements at the same time by holding down the CTRL key and marking the desired elements with a mouse click. The elements are now displayed in the menu (name, format, status with file size, target folder in media library). If you would like to delete uploaded elements, please use the red X on the right side of the screen. If further elements are to be added, this can be done by clicking on the "Add element" button. Note: it is possible that a warning message appears at this point, for example in the case of images with extreme sharpness or Resolution (DPI value). The target folder for the elements can be changed by clicking on the folder name in the "Target folder in media library" column. Please mark the desired folder in the following menu and confirm your selection with "Apply folder". The checkbox below the folder display also lets you use the selected folder as the standard folder for all media elements of this upload, if desired. Once you have selected all the required elements and assigned the target folder, please click on the "Next" button. Step 2 - Element Description
Describe the elements to be imported so that there are more evaluation options at a later point in time. Another advantage is that the description is also output as ALT text for images and is therefore a proven means of increasing the success of an e-mail, especially with image blocking. The fields "Description" and "Keywords" are to be filled in for each element. Keywords (tags) make it easier to find the elements you are looking for later. Once the fields have been filled out, please click on the "continue" button.
Step 3 - element import
Import options: Here you specify how to deal with duplicates, i.e. media elements that are already at the destination. You can upload such elements and provide them as a copy, ignore (i.e. do not upload) or overwrite the existing element with the uploaded one. Explanation : You hereby guarantee that no media elements will be uploaded that violate our applicable terms and conditions. You finalize the process by clicking on the "Import media elements" button.
